Dotcomformat

There is a slight difference in size between standard U dimensions and
dotcom dimensions.
This should clear it up:

Dumb newbie question/clarification:

So I can just drop these into a standard dotcom system?  I'm just
about ready to buy a dotcom but I want to make sure I understand what
it's going to take to get some other manufacturers modules integrated.
 Some of the modcan stuff looks very cool.
