You've got to love those JJ Perrey style tape splice type sound effects such as at the beginning of harrysrag. Some of the sounds sound indentical to those from the old records. I'm wondering what the ratio is of real sounds to synthesized sounds in them? A while back I did something slightly similar by synthesizing a bunch of sounds and then sampled them under different keys of a sampler and then I could play them in any order or rhythm for a similar effect. >>His first Moog LP "Kaleidoscopic Vibrations" (with Gershon Kingsley) came out at least a year before Switched-On Bach.<< Yep, one year before S.O.B. The date on the record is 1967. It's also Perrey (and Kingsley's) best and is required listening. I think the only way to get it now is on "The Out Sound From Way In" CD set. -Elhardt
