90% of the sound comes from the filter, not the oscillator.  This is why we always see people
cloning filters and not oscillators.  Of more interest to most keyboard players are stability and
tracking.

Poorly designed or poorly calibrated oscillators will create artifacts that are the equivalent of
filtering.
