I've done that on both of my dotcom reverbs. Just off the top of my head, I don't recall which pot I attached the switch to... probably 'amount'... but it does allow the signal to pass wet or dry, depending on if the switch is on or off. Works great.

Subject: [dotcomformat] Paia Hot Springs Modification in Dotcom Format, take a look!

Hi Guys, i've built my paia hot springs reverb module and am now
incorporating it into my synthesizers.com modular system. I am using
an existing panel which has two pots, one for "Drive" and one
for "Amount". I've replaced the trimpot in the hotsprings PCB with a
panel mounted pot labeled "Drive". I now want to add an "Amount" pot
which will blend the wet output with the dry input. The reason for
doing this is so i don't have to waste a mixer module to get a nice
combination of wet & dry, i can do it all internal to the module. I
would also like to add a SPDT switch which can switch between
bypassing the reverb and enabling the reverb. I have drawn these
modifications in red on this schematic and I was wondering if any of
you could give some input to the modification. I've also added a box
with a question mark because i'm not sure if i should be buffering
the signal input before going through the "Amount" POT.
Any suggestions, criticisms or other words of advice are gladly accepted! Thanks friends!
Here is my preposed modification schematic:
