FS: ARP 4072 derived filter in Synthesizers.com format

2007-04-04 by Suit & Tie Guy

hi,

i'm in the middle of building some filters based on Yves Usson's
adaptation of the ARP 4072 filter in dotcom format, with his co-
operation. i'm currently in a run of four of these things and thought
i'd offer them to the list for sale before throwing them on ebay.
they've got a filter cutoff knob (the big knob like the Moog 904A), a
resonance knob, and an attenuator for the 3rd CV input, two audio
inputs, and an audio output. in addition, it fits in one MU
(horizontal moog/dotcom width ... isn't "1MU" easier to say?) and
has dotcom power connector, a professionally manufactured circuit
board, and what i feel is a very attractive faceplate. in fact it
very brazenly proclaims this module as the "Post-Lawsuit Lowpass
Filter," in honour of the legal action of hazy recollection which
prompted this filter design.

here's a photo: http://stgsoundlabs.com/april_2007_product_line/

and here's a video of this thing filtering one oscillator from a
Minimoog under control of a x0xb0x: http://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=gq02-NAt4vU for some reason the audio is a little out-of-sync.
turning your envelope generator's Attack knob will not change the
filter cutoff of this module. also, towards the end i bring in
another oscillator on the minimoog ... so don't be confused into
thinking this filter also comes with a free phaser. i'll get the hang
of this "demo video" thing sometime. haha.

anyway, as i said i'm in the middle of a run of four of these things
and 2 have been spoken for already. if anyone wants one or both of
the remaining pair my current asking price is 225 USD plus shipping.
drop me a line if you're interested.

thanks,
