This is probably old news but.....

2007-12-13 by phineousbonemachine

I just finished my entry lvl system from arrick. I love it. I am
still going to build a 44 system with a couple sequencers before I
head off into boutique land to build the monster. I really like the
modcan B series alot but there is one factor that might sway me to A
series.

And that is The Cynthia Macintosh.

http://www.cyndustries.com/modules_minimac.cfm.

So here goes with the questions:

A. has anyone ever played with this thing?.

B. is it rock solid?, I am not worried about the mac mini but its
integration into the module seems to good to be true.

C. anyone know how much cynthia is selling the monitor for? I am
going to email her tonight and find out.

I have been thinking of getting a mac, I use windows and sonar6pro
and a old 8in Aardvark Q-10.

From what I read on the cyndustries web site, its sounds as if you
just plug in the minimac diretly into the module. It would be nice if
I could pull it out of the module and set it up as a desk top to set
up samples and sequences and what not and just plug it back in. I
might be dreaming if thats possible.

and my last question is 1/4" or banana plug? witch do you prefer and
why?

I am thinking about getting a cyndustries 6 pack and just setting it
on my 44space Dotcom cab.

The thought of having a fully funtioning minimac G4 as a module is
too good to pass up. That being said, if it sounds too good to be
true, then it probably isn't.

If it is just that, a great functioning mac G4 module then I will
rethink my monster plans and start building around it.

your thoughts, praises, reviews, and short comings are welcome.
