Larry, thanks for the circuit. Dana I tried about six months ago 
emailing Korg and various synth mfgs. for purchasing a joystick and 
never received an answer. The only thing that I find is the gaming 
joysticks. I'm looking for a compact one also. I'll starting looking 
again for one and if I find them I'll let you know.
