The LFO will clamp to a voltage source. I use it with my C921 Oscillators as a Osc set to LFO to track like having a 921 st to low. I could explain this better but I don't have time.

hi,

this is a follow-up to my post from a few months ago. i had a friend
in the netherlands wire the (contested) missing money to kazike and a
few weeks ago my modules showed up.

it's hard for me to say this, but they're great. they are built
different than standard dotcom style in that the back of the module is
encased by aluminum (so they're more like a rectangular box than two
rectangles joined at a right angle). the lfos are exactly what i
needed; they're not voltage controlled but i still have some q106's
when i need that functionality and in the space of 1 q106 i now have
two lfos. i really like the quantizer; it's accurate but not 100%
accurate so occasionally voltages that are between notes will jump
from one note to the other at random moments. since you can
specifically set the general key (major/minor) as well as which notes
should be contained in the scale (6/7) this is really fun. (i've never
used a quantizer before so it's possible that my 960 is sending out
voltages that are varying but i never noticed this behavior when
directly driving oscillators). the rocker switch on the quantizer
feels a bit cheap though; i may open it up and replace it (it never
really "clicks" into place, it just kind of goes from side to side
without any tactile feedback when it's in position), i had no problems
connecting the cotk power supply to my dotcom; it's not very wide so
it fit fine in my portable case.

all in all, these are the modules i wanted when i started the
purchasing process last year. if you have faith in wire transfers (or
if you live in the eu and don't have to worry about rapid fluctuations
between your currency and the euro) don't hesitate to order from cotk.
just be aware that once your money has been sent you're not getting it
back if some problem ensues.

thanks,

-jon
