Kookie, I want to be able to sweep through the range but I prefer not to use other modules and cables to do it if there are units out there that will do this. As far as liking or disliking them, they have their place but as of now I'm looking for something that doesn't have them. How many different ways did I spell "coarse"? I really need to look at what I'm typing. It seems to me that the spectrogram... if I remember correctly, was showing either 22.5+khz... or it was +24khz. Of course, I couldn't hear it... nor could my speakers faithfully reproduce it. > > Now- if ya just hate those pesky range switches... go with something else. Frankly, I've only heard of one or two people who didn't want CRS ranging... and at least one of them had never used 'em, either. > > Call me kookie. > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: warpt666 > To: dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2008 6:01 PM > Subject: [dotcomformat] Dotcom Compatible OSC with caorse knob instead of range switch? > > > I'd like to get an oscillator (or set) that does NOT have an octave > switch but instead has a knob (coarse tuning) that sweeps through the > entire frequency range, from high to LFO. > > The Dotcom oscillators have ocatve (range) switches. > > It appears that MOTM's model 300 and 310 osc will do this, is that > correct?
