I'm looking into the rack frames for the same reason. I could be wrong but I thought I read  
that the Modcan modules will drop into the MOTM rack rails. If so that would great, the 
MOTM rails are less expensive than the  Modcan. 

It appears that the voltage is the same but the connectors are different, correct?
