The level difference can be a problem occasionally. At times I like to drive my VCF hard and a +/-2.5V signal won't do it. Easily remedied. If the VCF has two inputs for audio, patch the same signal into both inputs. That will double the level giving you +/-5V. Don't have two inputs on your VCF? Use a mixer module to add the signal to itself. You could also use the Inst. Interface. I'd reckon 75% of the time the level difference is of no consequence. p.
