Yup. At its heart is a digital echo chip but it does use some cool analog
processing in addition. I own one and I've looked inside, I took a picture
of the circuit board and posted it in this thread on Muff's forum:

With a standard analog delay each repeat tends to have its frequency
response rolled off a little. On the C1680 just the first repeat gets rolled
off and then the subsequent repeats seem unaffected so it sounds somewhat
like a hybrid of analog and digital in my humble opinion.  I made a YouTube
video demo you can listen too to see if it sounds like a module that would
be useful in your setup. It certainly is in mine, I LOVE it! :-)
