RE: [dotcomformat] Re: design flaw Re: New Moon Modular modules

The voltage scaling on the M564 sequencial switch did not correctly pass voltage information thru it with out chaging the voltage leves. i.e. if you were using it select between sequencer rows it will not play as if the rows were plugged in directly. But that is all fixed now and Gert will repair the faulty modules free of charge.

What was the design flaw? Can you give me more info on that, and what they told you about it?

They aren't really new, but I have both the M563 trigger sequencer and the M564 sequential divider switch and I like them both a lot. The devices appear to be well-made and add a lot of value for sequencing.

I should also mention that Moon's customer service has been excellent. They ship items promptly. There was a small design flaw with early versions of the sequential switch. They notified me of the problem (I hadn't noticed it myself) and offered to fix it if I wanted to send it back.

I'd eventually like to get a pair of the voltage controlled envelope generators from them, but I haven't gotten around to ordering them.

		Yes.

My thought is that I would like to buy the voltage controlled envelope. Has anybody here tried this module?
