Patch library site

Patch library site

2012-04-25 by Irfon-Kim Ahmad

So, Shane (a.k.a. "the New Shane") mentioned tracking down and trying
patches, and Bill Yerazunis also mentioned recommending that people try
patches people have posted here. I know, of course, that there's a
place in the Yahoo Group for storing files and the like. However, I was
just wondering if anybody would be interested in me putting up a public
patch library site. In the interests of security, I'd probably maintain
it myself and just have a form for submissions, but of course I'd credit
all of the submissions to the person who submitted them. It would be
pretty trivial to set up in, say, something like Wordpress, with some
hierarchical navigation and/or some useful tagging. The question would
be getting content, and also whether people would actually use it or
find it handy (and specifically, handier than just putting files up in
the Yahoo group)?

What think you all?

Move to quarantaine
