Thanks for bringing up the Cyndustries/modcan to dot com specs idea. Have you seen Cyndustries Tanpura and Tabla Module? Since it's listed as 'special order' I DID ask if they could do them compatible with my Arrick but haven't heard a response yet.

If someone busts out a panel project for some Cyndustry/Modcan to Arrick I would love to get in on it.

Hi David,
I'm curious how you plan to convert Cyndustries stuff to 1/4"? They have
some awesome modules which I would love to include in a dotcom system, but
not sure how outside of getting panels made. If you're considering doing
that I may want to join you. If so which modules?
Personally, I think mixed connectors would drive me bonkers.
That's why I'm going to the trouble to convert my Modcan/Cynthia

Blacet sells an adaptor that will fit their modules (and I think PAiA
too)
to an MOTM mounting. One side effect of this is that the adaptor panel
has lots of blank space where you can drill and mount more jacks.
When I start buying some Blacet, which I will as soon as I get what I've
already got under control, I'm going to mount some of them in these
adaptors and then use the space to convert them. Some of the
1/4" jacks will go in the (drilled-out) holes in the original panel, and
the ones that don't fit will go into annexed space in the adaptor.
It might be possible to modify the adaptor to fit Eurorack modules,
which would bring in ASys and Doepfer, but I haven't looked at
that yet.
ouch! $750 each...

I picked up a great pair (tanpura and tabla) in Delhi and converted
them to doepfer format - cost me about $150 all in...

The tanpura works amazingly well in as a background drone in a modular
set up - you don't have to panic if you lose the modular signal...

They [cyndustries] look great though...

Steven

It's more than just looking good. The Cynthia modules have CV inputs that are not present on the standard products.
I'd be happy with normal ones, without CV inputs. Anyone know of a good online source for buyers in the US?
What are the makes (brand names) and models on yours, Steven?
