I'm here now

After going here:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/dotcomusers/

I was told to come here. I hope this is the correct and final place.

I still can't understand Roger rudely shutting down the original list
with no preliminary warning that it was going to be shut down. He
didn't even need to be involved with the list if he didn't want. All
he did was alienate all his users. It seems ridiculous.

First off, welcome. :-)

I started this list first as I thought someone should do something to
fill the void so all the old friends could take right up where they
left off. Somewhere near the same time, Jay started the other list.
It seemed wrong to have 2, so everyone is moving here per Jay's
instructions as I understand it.

I don't know about correct and final. Maybe Roger will open his list
back up. If he does, I expect people in this group may want to take
that back up and I will shut this one down if that is what people
want.

I guess he was sick of the bickering and rudeness like many of us.
But, like you, I do not understand.

Perhaps he was tired of reading "Where's the new modules?"

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
