Does anybody know of any good analog drum machines that have a din (midi24) output out there? Any advise would be great. Jeff

(shameless plug: i also have a 606 for sale; email me offlist for details). thanks, -jon "There are no differences but differences of degree between different degrees of difference and no difference." - James, William. Not a drum machine but, the future retro Mobius is a sequencer with DIN sync, midi, and CV clock outs. What do you Sync about that? --- On Tue, 4/21/09, jon schatz <jon@divisionbyzero.com> wrote:

I sync (ugh) that the inability to drive Suit's new time modules is just about the only thing that I don't like about my Schrittmacher. But it's a big thing! The Roland TR-606 can still be bought relatively cheaply, especially when compared to the 808. The plus side is that it's small and compact, not to mention a hell of a lot of fun! Emil --- In dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com, Gordon Van Huizen <gvh@...> wrote:

Howdy, The TR-909 has a "sync" output that pulses whatever you program the "wood block" sound to. I'll have to look and see if there is din. For sure there is DCB. Rig --- In dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com, michael stein <michael_david_stein@...> wrote:

For sure there is DCB. the 909 has din sync in but it doesn't output sync (if you have the older version firmware this is the only way you can get the 909 to slave to external gear; the midi sync on firmware < 1.4 is pretty broken). thanks, -jon "There are no differences but differences of degree between different degrees of difference and no difference." - James, William.
