Re: [elektron] Midi-ox sysex settings

2004-10-26 by offlinedevice

Heidi,

From what you're telling me, I'm wondering if there's a problem with
the Edirol driver in not being able to handle either the some of the
large sysex records of the MD (the patterns with the parameter locks
are large records), or that the entire sysex file is too large. You
might contact them. It might be worth a try to increase your buffer
size in MidiOx ( I provided my default settings to you in another
message - those should be the same for you), but the entire MD dump
is nowhere near hundreds of megs. This sounds like some kind of
memory leak. I doubt the buffer size is going to matter. Also,
maybe contacting the author of MidiOx might get you pointed in the
right direction. Sorry I'm not much help. Good luck.

Best Regards,

Joe
