FWIW, I built a midi seq using the 68hc11 cpu (same as sidstation) and used its internal a/d converters as midi controllers. I found them to be very unstable... to the point where I did all kinds of averaging and even gaussian filtering, but the problem is that those a/d converters are just kind of flaky... I'm not sure if it's psychologicial but os 1.1 seems to be less flaky in its controllers than os 1.0. perhaps they improved the filtering or something. Honestly, though, the only page where it's a problem is on the envelope page for some reason....I don't usually get values spontaneously changed on any other pages! > ....PWM is where all the action is... > >-N I was goign to agree with this person and say "Yeah, I like PWM, too" but then I realized it was me who wrote it in the first place! hahahah what kind of wave tables are you people making? I made a neat-sounding one the other day, it was like this: +12 +00 +00 +00 +00 +12 +00 +00 +00 +12 +00 +00 +12 +00 Loop 00 > i hope to god elektron is planning a new os for the sid. i've had to put > my sidstation recommendation engine in neutral, until some very basic > concerns are addressed, like: UNSTABLE KNOBS(not staying at 127,not precise > enough) and more midi imp.
