Finally got a controller coming up for the mono! It's a kenton control freak studio thingy with 16 faders in a heavy old school metal box. Also got two interesting foot pedal input jacks. Happens to be the same as analogue CV inputs with a 5V feed. Great! Soldering two TSR jacks to each of the pots in any plain joystick or other potentiometer device works just as well as doing it in a guitar pedal. Gaffertape the 'stick to the sfx and off it goes! :) Seems to be standard the same 0-5V inputs on the faders, makes it easy to add more of those funky input devices. Hope to get at least one penny&giles ultra smooth dj-crossfader connected. Midi output from the live mixer would be perfect! PS: sync problems; be sure to use a star pattern on the connections. Dear say that most sync problems are probably due to long daisy chaining through slow devices and long cables. Get a midi thru unit to feed all sensitive devices directly. Same goes with the din sync if you chain sync24 boxes. Splicing two or three cables to make a dumb splitter usually works fine if you need to. Percussive attacks need precise timing, synths with attack in the envelope less so. Cheers, Andreas
