How tweakable are > the sounds? they are samples, after all. so they're not incredibly tweakable in the way that the MD drums are (since those are synthesized). but there's still a lot of mileage you can get out of them. the synthesis page in the MnM only allows for retriggering (makes a "stuttering" sound or drum roll sound) as well as pitch up/down plus sample start time. but then you have to remember that you also have an excellent filter, delay section and LFO's. so you can do quite a lot with them. of the 24 sounds, I think there's kick/snare/hats/ht/mt/lt and then percussion from there on up. so every two octaves have the same sounds mapped to them, but pitched up or down by the octave shift.
