I think Elektron's inventions are changing the progression of a lot of new electronic music because of their unique designs. My opinion is they should keep innovating without limiting themselves to outdated audio technologies as a gimmick. The Sid Station is obviously a classic machine, but I think anybody who owns an MD or a Mono knows that the ultra-intuitive interface design and audiophile sound quality of these two instruments is the way forward. I just want to see the imagination of these guys totally unhindered without working around limitations inherent in old chips. It also makes for a much wider range of possible sounds. The distinct character of old chips like the Sid is what makes them so cool, but also less versatile. Hence the "bit-pop" electroclash associations. Anyways, that's my two cents! --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, elektron-users@yahoogroups.com wrote: > > > Enter your vote today!
