Actually, most of the character of a BD is not made in its low-frequencies, but in
its higher frequencies!
You get the extra "punch" by adding some hi-frequencies!!! In the XBase e.g. you can
add a pulse signal and a noise signal to the BD to make it punchier, and it really
works! On itself it sounds strange, but in the mix it's splendid!
