I usually keep the delay, when I record the loop I hit stop on the MnM right at the end of the loop and keep logic recording so I keep the tail. I don't always use it, sometimes a loop sounds ok if one cuts off where the next begins, but I always have the tail in case I need to end a section and want it to hang over. But if it's an important delay sometimes I just use two tracks for one part and alternate the loops on each track so the tail hangs over and I can keep track of everything.
