Hi M -

I think you're right -- after getting home, I was not able to replicate the
problem.  

Before reading your post my guess was that the sub on the stage (which was
causing the platform to vibrate) was somehow interfering with the connection
between the power supply and power strip -- perhaps causing it to vibrate
in/out of contact.  Now, this idea seems ridiculous!

I'll look into getting something to create a clean line of power right away.
Gotta love being a novice performer!  Another thing I overlooked -- dry
towels -- those lights get hot...

Did it only happen at that location? Does it ever happen at home? If
it was only at that gig, I would venture to guess that the problem is
a dirty power line.

I know that my MD did the same thing back at my old place, but at my
new location I have not experenced it once. You might want to pick up
one of those devices that give you a clean power line.
