Elektron Musical Instruments

Last night I saw Autechre perform live here in NYC.
The first thing I noticed was the red glow of a
MachineDrum on the left side of their set up. I think
it was Booth working it (although I'm not certain),
but he basically was using it non-stop through their
set. As you can imagine (although I'm sure a lot of
you already knew this), ae live is pretty amazing. I
was kind of surprised how "straight up" their music
was, but really, when you're autechre you don't really
need to show anybody you know how to slice up beats,
so it was kind of refreshing to hear them more into a
simpler set of tracks with tons of  stuff played live
and their old school melodies running up and down your
head. 
Note to Elektron: If you haven't already given Ae all
your machines to play with for free, then you should
give them 1 million EU just for showcasing them live
on stage.
