Re: Autechre Live

2005-05-10 by scutopus

last night i saw them in boston. whooo! had me dancing (!) the whole
time! imagine that--dancing at an autechre show!
seriously, their set was superb, fun, sick, etc. and i reveled in the
fact that i've made a few of the same sounds! (most, of course, were
completely out of my jurisdiction!) they still brought the barrage of
sound that i've known and loved them to do in the live setting, but it
felt less serious, more down-to-earth than the last time they played
in boston (2001, both stared at laptops the whole time). even mr.
booth on the elektron gear was head-nodding the whole time. they made
good use of the MD's ability to punch you in the gut with a kick drum,
among many other things...... and i was awed by their virtuosity with
whatever instrument they touch.

anyone record it? pretty please?
