I felt that the Quasimidi polymorph gripe was a bit much and saying the cheesy 80's tune wasn't a good introduction wasn't needed. I hate lots of presets on my gear and that's why i erase them all and spend a few months working on the studio-tan and sounddiving and would never let something like that influence my opinion of a piece of gear. I think these machines are perfect regardless of extra noise or lack of triplets. Besides, I'm with machinedrum, and he's good mates with mono, and if you got a problem with them then you got a problem with me! s > > unattributed sender: what weird things did it get poked for, > then? > > > On Wed, May 11, 2005 at 06:02:08PM -0400, sean brennan wrote: >> I agree, the FM review was much better, the SOS feature came off a bit >> snobby. >> >> >>> it was OK. but he did take a couple pokes at it for weird things. >>> the FM >>> review was WAY more favorable; it got a platinum award and the review >>> ended with them essentially saying "I can't live without this." and >>> they >>> liked it so much that they had a contest to win an SFX-6. >>> >>> so I guess I just meant that by comparison, it wasn't that great of a >>> review. > > -- > yours, > niall. > .. . . . . . . . . > . > aleph null. a simple insinuation around > silence. > http://syncretism.net > .. .. gpg public key - http://www.aleph-null.net/niall.gpg .. .. > > > > > Yahoo!
