TCWorks' now defunct Spark XL can use MIDI SDS to send samples to/from MIDI samplers, as can the excellent DSP Quattro from i3 Software. LINK: http://www.i3net.it/Products/dspQuattro/Asp/Features_EN.asp#features Spark as I said is now discontinued but you should be able to find it somewhere on the net if you use Limewire or something similar (don't shout at me I own a legit copy of all the software I use - I am just trying to help him out!) DSP Quattro used to be shareware (called D-Sound Pro - Going back around 8 years now!) and is a great program but as its now at $149 it may be more than you were hoping to spend... I will take a look for a 'cheap' SDS-capable Mac sample editor and report back to the list soon... > You might wanna try audacity for mac OS X > > http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ > > Just an idea (don't have a mac ;-)) > > Greetz > > Olaf > ----- Original Message ----- > From: jmelnyk@... > To: elektron-users@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2005 2:50 PM > Subject: Re: [elektron] Re: MachineDrum UserWave Questions > > > > For Windows, you can also try Soundforge or AWave, both work fine.
