I can't help you with dumping back to the SU10, but I know one thing for sure; you won't be able to dump to the MD UW because sysex stands for "system exlusive" wich means exclusive only to that model. In fact the model and brand code is implemented in the sysex code. Dumping samples to and from the MD are done bij midi stndard midi dump wich is something completely different. Maybe the SU10 supports this too wich in that case would work after all, but my guess is it only does sysex dumps. If you recieve data error's it seems not all code is recieved back, gtry using other software, cable, driver for midi card. I know i had some problems with midiox wich resulted in failing dumps. It had to do with the buffer sizes. I have the C6 midi dump tool in beta Daniel was talking about and it seems very fast en very stable so maybe that will fix your problem. Ronald.
