The Machinedrum and the Monomachine are complex creatures, and we have
continued to develop them over time. With each new feature there is a
risk of introducing a bug. That's why we like to stay in beta a while
after adding features to be sure we have ironed out eventual bugs.

We test all new OS versions extensively and use them ourselves, but we
can never foresee all different scenarios, we will always need
feedback to get all parts work perfectly.

We can never fix a bug unless we know how to reproduce it. Because
without being able to reproduce it we can't know if it fixed. We
didn't receive any reports on problems with the MIDI machines until
after a long time after releasing OS 1.05, and when we did they didn't
get enough info to reproduce them.

Now we have, and now we have fixed them. We will release a new OS for
the Monomachince soon. But who knows, maybe there is some new bug in
there? We can never guarantee anything because people use the gear in
a milion different ways. The only thing we can do is to try and fix
them when we get enough information about them. And rumours floating
around the mailing list isn't the same as a known bug to us. We need
to get a specific report to support@elektron to get it into our bug
fix que.
