Yep, I was going to say the Virus as well. The distortion effect has 2 different types you'd be interested in - bit reduce and sample rate reduce. The Nord Modular/MicroMod have similar capabilities (and the MicroMod is cheaper if you're just looking for that one effect.) I'll post an MP3 of a simple drum loop through the Virus in a second... JP PS - Yeah, where in the world is the machinedrum? Disappointing not hearing any word about it's release and no new samples either.
