...and there you see some of the problems arising when increasing the
number of available ROM-machines! Simplicity and limitiations can be a
bliss to creativity, but I know some will really dislike my views on
this. :)

It wouldn't be impossible to allow copying a RAM machine to a ROM
position, thereby saving it for the future. It would allow for some
low-key sampler functionality. But the intention for the RAM machines
from the beginning is for live use and effects, therefore their
volatility.

That factory default memory is the boot flash. Not the precious DSP
memory. So it could not be used for any live sounds.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
