Elektron Musical Instruments

Hi folks,

My new software utility for the Machinedrum is finally ready for public consumption! The 
program, Empty Magic, is designed to complement the Machinedrum by adding a number 
of performance-oriented features to the MD.

You can mute tracks and groups of tracks with MIDI notes, play the machines from your 
MIDI keyboard and even change multiple Machinedrum settings from a single MIDI control 
wheel. Velocity-based adjustment of parameters is in there as well.

I started out building this thing for myself, but then I saw other Elektron users on the web 
asking for the same features that I was interested in. So I dug back in and turned it 
into a real software product. I am interested to find out what everyone thinks of the 
software, and what other features you would like to see!

Empty Magic is available for Mac OS X and Windows. You can get the evaluation version

If there is enough interest in Empty Magic, then I have a number of other ideas for 
Elektron-related software products that I would like to work on. Graphical editor/librarian, 
anyone?

BTW, Empty Magic 1.0.0 (the version on the web site) is designed for use with a hardware 
MIDI controller.  Contact me via e-mail if you would like a prerelease version of 1.1.0, 
which can be controlled by a MIDI sequencer.
