As I said, I've unplugged the MnM out from the MDs in as it wasn't really needed but I was more interested in why this would be happening. I tried turning just about all the MnM transmits off that I could find in the globals menu but it still happened! Interestingly, it only happens when the base channel of the MD is on 10 or higher (the MnM is set to use channels 1-9) On 12/11/05, Joseph Melnyk <jmelnyk@...> wrote: > On Dec 10, 2005, at 3:38 PM, Edward George wrote: > > > [1]Instead of being plugged into seperate channels on the midi > > interface the MnM midi in is connected to the MD out and the MD midi > > in is connnected to the MnM out. > > sounds like you've got a loop going on and the MD is getting confused. > is there a reason why you need both of these connections? if you're > just > syncing them, you only need MnM out to MD in (or vice versa, even). > > if you do need this connection for a reason (though I really can't > think of > what that would be), then try limiting what the MnM transmits. go into > the global MnM menu and you can choose which kind of data is > transmitted. > just sync and transport data should be enough. the keyboard, > joystick and sequencer data don't need to go out. > > hope that helps! > > > ________________________________ > YAHOO!
