on the monomachine if you have more than 16 steps, but less than say
32, the scale doesn't split the steps evenly between the pages (as you
get on the korg drummy boxes).

is the machine drum the same deal? 24 steps means 16 on the first page
and 8 on the next? or will the machinedrum pleasure you with an easy
12 steps on each page?
