actually, this may be wrong; i haven't played with my mono
in a few months.  the sequencer _definitely_ doesn't record
velocity changes.  i can't remember if velocity is
transmitted to external kit, though, and i can't verify that
until my studio's put together again.  sorry for potentially
misleading info.  andy t, can you corroborate?
