Elektron Musical Instruments

Hello,

I was recent played a gig with my MachineDrum and  a laptop, my  
partner also had a laptop. We've used this setup numerous times  
before - both out at gigs and practicing at home. At this most recent  
gig, the machine drum acted a bit strangely -- when it was plugged in  
to the power strips and sound ran through the main system the LCD on  
the MachineDrum would pulse in time with the beat... ultimately  
causing the MD to reboot and/or freeze. The pulsing only seemed to  
happen with volume was put through the main system - not the booth  
monitors.

The power was run off a generator (this was an outdoor event) and  
most everything was being run off the same generator. None of the  
other equipment (laptops, mixer, CD players...) seemed to be affected.

Any thoughts on why this was happening and what I can do to prevent  
it in the future?
