Re: [elektron] realistic machinedrum kits?

Also check out a NORD DDrum or Roland TD series... you can trigger them via midi for realistic drums sounds...

Anyone else have any luck with rockin on the MD?

  Hello!

Well, sorry to sound like a jerk, but I think the MD is pretty much the wrong kit for that. I GUESS you could get something slightly acoustic-sounding from the PI-kits, but my suggestion is:

Option 1: Upgrade to UW, load the machine up with some nice rock drum samples
Option 2: Get a MPC or similar, or for that matter a silly cheap sampler like a S2000 or something and trigger it using the MIDI machines. (if you want to stay in hardware, otherwise, download preferred freeware VSTi drum sampler...)

  Regards
