Hello,
Sounds that you havent done the midi settings wright
in the machine drum...In such a minimal setup it
should be a decend clockmaster...

The MD sends out of 4 midichanels at once...You set
this in the global menu midi as base chanel. There you
also can disable midi output so that only midi
machines get to the midi outs..
You shouldnt use midimachines on the channels you
deceided to use on the MD...
I use 1-4 for MD when needed...usualy i switch midi
out off to improove the clocktiming... 5-8 is my nord
modular...
i sadly dont own an echoplex ;-)

within the nordmodular it might be necessary to delay
the clock a bit to get things a bit later..
