actually a good question..
6v AC that get converted inside the machinedrum make
it actually pretty independant from the type of
external powersupplys...
When its done wright the the MD could also take 9 v DC
power supplys independent from theire polarity......
That only elektron can answer..but would be good to
know in emergency cases...
However... The electron powersupply gives 3 Amperes
!!!
so any normal little powersupply just would melt away
even when the MD can take it...
you could build your own poer supply for europe... but
i gues its better to buy one from elektron...
to build it yourself you just need one transformator
230V to 6 V.. 3 Ampere... or 18 watts output...
This one for example...
you have to know how to correctly parralel the output
coils
http://www.conrad.de/goto.php?artikel=506559..
Its cheap... less than 10$...but you have all the
solder action and need a housing..so its in the end
probably cheaper to buy the Elektron euro power supply
( where you probably will find just this blue
transformator inside... )
But just in case everything goes wrong or your power
supply gets wrong...
Becaus eelektron uses just an AC supply its very easy
to build that yourself in many places in the world
where you have acces to stander electronic
components...
