I don't have my MnM here, but I guess this is issue of adding or
decreasing the headroom, which I find very clever design on MnM. It is
explained pretty good in the manual.
I guess you are asking, if it should hit precisely to -0dB VOL at 127.
I don't know, but you can affact this with DIST parameter. Also
depends if you have prosessed your sin-wave with track effects (I
guess thats why we have adjustable headroom and some free headroom by
default).
