neat.  thanks for the info Patrik.  i'm getting a mk II that isnt a UW.....
does that mean the rom slot and ram machine differences aren't applicable?
2.5 mgs of sample memory seems pretty small anyways.  i think.  i've never
used hardware samplers, just soft synth samplers like Battery and Kontakt.
i guess you can cut drum hits into tiny, tiny little wav files tho.
