Hey! Thanks for the speedy response. It's setup right 100%. All midi settings are correct in all my units. Ableton will send start/stop messages to the MD and the MD can be triggered via Ableton. Unfortunately, once playback is initiated sync runs out of time and starts, stops, pauses briefly (milliseconds) and goes a bit haywire. As for cubase, it won't even send start/stop or timecode to the MD. I think something is maybe out of whack with my Novation Remote SL37 and cubase. Funny thing about all this is everything was ok until I worked the MD into it all. I've been at this for two days now and I'm nothing but frustrated. I've emailed Jon at Elektron tonight and I am waiting for his response now. I see you have a Novation Remote and MOTU ULtralite as well, at least it said so on your website ( I was checking out your tracks). Can you tell me your global settings for midi in/out/sync on the Remote just to make sure? If you are running cubase maybe you can tell me your midi settings there as well. This has turned into 24hrs from hell! Thanks for the link to the info too. I'm going through it now!
