I think you're correct, but regardless, the bottom line is: offer's over, I 
missed out, and now I'll probably just end up taking the cash that I have 
scraped together and put it toward something more practical...like rent.

Fiscally speaking, that's probably a better use, but nowhere near as 
fun.  Ack!  :P
