Hey everybody. Thanks for the updates about the MD: keep 'em coming. As I impatiently await mine (it just got thru New York, but I'm on the West coast), I've been sessioning my Sidstation, basking in the classic sound and thoughtful design of the box. Right in the middle of tweaking the other nite though, the sound sputtered out. Now all I get is noise, synced to anything flashing on the screen, and making a nice zippery noise when I turn a knob. I've reset and reloaded patches, but nothing seems to work. I was running sound thru the filter at the time, and I've heard stories of people frying their chips with excessive volume, but this was simply a loop through a delay, then into the sid. Anyone out there know what the symptoms are of having overloaded the input? I seem to have heard these noises before during a previous crash, but I'm not sure. Would reloading the OS be the next step? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for all the contributions to this great list. cheers, Jason
