Hi all, Sorry if this is a bit off topic (feel free to e-mail me off the list), but I'm looking for an extra SID chip (preferably a 6581 not an 8580). It isn't for my SIDstation, but rather for my SX-64 (which I use for Cybertracker, SAM, and some homebrew projects). I'm not sure what is wrong with the chip that is in it now, but it produces noises that have only a faint resemblance to what they should (read as clicks and pops instead of tones). I know that I could pick up a used C64 on Ebay and pop the SID out of it, but I'd prefer not to render an otherwise functional C64 silent. Any suggestions?
