Hi Ugo, > Now i only want to get synths that are versitle and interesting. Well, the SID is very versatile and different from other synths. The Keyboards (Germany) and Keys (Germany) reviews were great ! They gave the SIDStation a very high rating. I've been away for two days, but I'm currently working on the translations of those reviews. I hope to have them online soon. > yeah, i've thought about the pulse. i have never tried a prophecy but i've > checked out the Z1. the analog models sounded cool but kind of soul-less. > i get it would sit great in a mix but the tonal character of the synth just > didnt seem unique enough to me. Just a tip: a Nova does the same and adds inputs and a vocoder for less money. > i gotta say though, right now i think the sid is my current pick. it just > seems so interesting. going by the mps's on elektrons site, the sid almost > seems like > it has a life of its own. It has a life of its own !!! Highly recommended synth !!! And because of the limited amount of SID chips left, it's definitely going to be a collectors item, so it's a good investment as well (although I'll never sell mine).
