A question about the SIDStation.. and how it compares to the old '64. SID programming in Commodore 64 assembler was painful and tedious... but rewarding ! Now we own a SID Station.. and it brings back the good old days. However.. I have trouble programming the SID Station in the way I got used to on the 64. For instance.. programming drumsounds on a 64 could be done by defining 'instruments'.. with osc settings, envelope, filter and all that. Using the sidstation, I can only produce brief (or long) bursts of 'noise'. Am I missing something, or is the SID Station not capable of this ? 64 / SID Station freaks out there.. give me a hand please.
