On the c64 the fastest you'll get because of CPU overhead is about 
63x (pal/50hz).

The register updates are directly tied to cpu overhead and bus speed.
Your assessment could be dead on.  I'm to lazy to research the clock 
setup in the SS.  I figure one of the elektron guys will jump in 
and "blow my ass off the road". 

I'm working on making a max/msp supersid.  Yeah, I don't have the 
filters but atleast it will be clean sounding with high speed 
register updates.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
